Champion Herd 2025

I will begin with a very heartfelt thank you to Justin Harmer and the Sussex Cattle Society for the invitation to come and judge your wonderful breed of Cattle, I am truly honoured. My first sighting of the Sussex breed was in a bull purchased along with two Hereford and two Aberdeen Angus. He was a magnificent beast complete with a wonderful pair of horns! I have judged sheep for 40 years and cattle for around 15. My first visit was to the Rectory herd, where Serena Puxty’s passion for the herd was evident from the start. The quality was impressive!
